Although she's been writing stories since she was a child, Nafeesa's decision to call herself a writer is quite recent. Poetry is a part of this writing, but Nafeesa is now beginning to make headway as both a playwright and screenwriter. Currently, her play "Full Moon" is being workshopped with the Robey Theatre Company's Playwright's Lab. In addition, Nafeesa is in development with a partner and Hallmark to write a television film based on a true story. She'll keep you updated.
